The Cost Accounting Specialist plays a vital role in tracking, analyzing, and reporting cost-related aspects of operations. In this role, you’ll support strategic decision-making by ensuring accurate product costing, budgeting, and cost control. You’ll be an essential contributor to DFSK’s financial stability, particularly in the context of manufacturing or production-based environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and report on cost-related financial data to support budgeting and strategic planning.
- Track standard costs and monitor variances to ensure cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for accurate inventory valuation and cost allocation.
- Assist in improving cost control mechanisms in manufacturing operations.
- Contribute to financial forecasting and support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in cost accounting or manufacturing finance.
- (Entry-level applicants with relevant internship experience may also be considered.)
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus).
- Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of standard costing, inventory valuation, and cost variance analysis.
