Responsibilities
- Manage import and export operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and documentation requirements.
- Coordinate and oversee shipping arrangements, including vessel booking for cargo transportation.
- Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and customs agents to facilitate smooth and timely shipments.
- Handle truck arrangements, optimizing routes, and managing logistics for land transportation.
- Track shipments, maintain inventory, and resolve any shipping- related issues or delays.
- Negotiate contracts, rates and services with vendors and carriers to ensure cost-effective logistics solutions.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits, reporting, and compliance purpose.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in import/export operation, including vessel booking and logistics arrangement.
- Strong knowledge of import/export, documentation and customs procedures.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using logistic software and MS office.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Proficiency in English.
